Why BBA Global Operations Management? In today’s competitive market, cost efficiency, customer responsiveness, and operational flexibility are critical to business success. Companies increasingly rely on global supply chains to source goods and serve customers worldwide, which makes strategic planning and technological innovation essential for achieving operational excellence. By analysing business flows and processes to identify bottlenecks and resolve inefficiencies, operations management helps organizations co-create value with customers, improve performance, and support sustainable profitability. The BBA Global Operations Management (GOM) programme equips students with strong analytical skills and trains them to apply data-driven methods in diagnosing business problems and addressing operational inefficiencies. Through a mix of workshops, field trips, and in-class learning, students learn to effectively manage resources, which may include people, time, and money. Unspecified electives may include Category A elective subjects, Mathematics extended modules (M1/M2) (except for JS1801 ) and Category C other languages subjects (Japanese: Level N3 or above; Korean: Grade 3 or above; French/German/Spanish: Level A2 or above; Urdu: Grade E or above) (except for JS1200 , JS1201 , JS1217 , JS1300 , JS1801 , JS1805 , JS1806 and JS1807 ). If students take both M1 and M2, they are counted as one subject only. Applied Learning (ApL) subjects are not counted as elective subjects, except for JS1040 , JS1041 , JS1042 , JS1043 , JS1044 , JS1300 , JS1805 , JS1806 and JS1807 .
