Their work is linked with the financial and corporate sectors, which often have legal disputes that can only be solved by those with a detailed knowledge of accounting. Students in the double degree programme will acquire wide-ranging legal knowledge and skills that will enable them to progress to professional legal training, and will also acquire foundational knowledge that can assist them to qualify as accountants. The graduates of the double degree programme, the Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy, benefit from a rigorous legal education combined with solid academic training in accounting within a global business mindset. It is thus expected that they will be highly sought after for positions in the commercial and financial sectors. The double degree will prepare students for a career in the legal and financial sectors, and they will also have the option to become a legal professional. Students will receive a well-rounded education from our staff, which includes distinguished teachers and scholars from Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland, the UK, Australia, India, and Malaysia. If students take both M1 and M2, they are counted as one subject only. Applied Learning (ApL) subjects are not counted as elective subjects, except for JS1040 , JS1041 , JS1042 , JS1043 , JS1044 , JS1300 , JS1805 , JS1806 and JS1807 .
