Through rigorous teaching and engagement with the business community, the programmes focus on nurturing students' leadership and marketing skills, analytical techniques, team spirit and social responsibility. Students can choose one of the following programmes within the Scheme: BBA (Hons) in Management or BBA (Hons) in Marketing. BBA (Hons) in Management BBA (Hons) in Management Management skills are essential for all business professionals. As a field of study, management aims to maximise the potential of people and other resources within organisations. This programme provides students with a well-rounded business education and general management training, as well as the opportunity to specialise in human resource management. Students are equipped with a wide range of management skills to give them the potential to develop as business leaders in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland, and the region. BBA (Hons) in Marketing BBA (Hons) in Marketing This programme is designed to help students build both the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in marketing in a fast-changing global environment. With engaging modules in digital marketing, business analytics, and artificial intelligence, it prepares students to navigate and lead the ongoing digital transformation in the field. Learning goes beyond the classroom through internships, experiential projects, and collaborations with industry partners, giving students the chance to apply their skills in real-world settings. By graduation, students are job-ready and empowered to pursue careers in advertising, brand management, market research, sales, digital marketing, and many other marketing- related fields. Remarks Remarks All admitted students will embark on a Common Year One curriculum. Towards the end of year one, students can decide whether to continue with their initial choice or switch to another choice within the Faculty. Those who wish to change to another choice need to join a competitive process through a ranking assessment, which considers a combination of entrance qualification score, Year One GPA, and interview performance. Students will be awarded one of the following degrees upon successful completion of the graduation requirements of the programme: BBA (Hons) in Management BBA (Hons) in Marketing Admission of a student into a specific programme option is based on student's choice, GPA and individual subject results in Year 1. Both programmes offer the option of the Secondary Major in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, subject to competitive admission and different credit requirements for graduation. Preferred subjects, if applicable, are listed in the 'Entrance Requirements & Subject Weightings' section of individual scheme / programme entries. Satisfactory performance in preferred subjects will have a positive influence on admission selection. However, applicants who have not taken the preferred subjects will still be considered for admission but they may need to take relevant underpinning subjects after admission to PolyU. 9 . The study places offered by PolyU through JUPAS are intended primarily for admission of local school leavers. Applicants who are studying or have studied a scheme / programme with degree or above level will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 10 . Please note that Category I and Category II applicants are considered under different admission routes and are subject to different tuition fees. Category II applicants seeking admission on the basis of HKDSE results should submit their applications directly to PolyU.
