Through a multi- disciplinary approach, it aims to nurture students to be professional, creative and ethical early childhood educators in future. This programme will not only equip students with solid disciplinary knowledge on child development and pedagogical skills to foster the holistic development of children, but will also with the necessary knowledge and skills to work with parents, families and communities to foster children’s development, parent-teacher relationships and school effectiveness, as well as the competence and sensitivity to identify characteristics of children with diverse needs for early intervention, and to plan and implement a responsive curriculum to facilitate the physical and psychological development of children with various learning, emotional and behavioral needs.
