The programme’s interdisciplinary structure combines humanities focus (undertaken within a single Arts discipline) with a focus in interdisciplinary digital technologies. Through internship, experiential learning and project-based training, the programme brings students’ digital technology skills with their chosen humanities discipline together to create an individually tailored learning experience. In summary, the BA(HDT) offers both practical and theoretical training, providing students with unique skill sets in humanities and digital technologies. Students will be equipped with the skills to drive pioneering work in their humanities areas of specialisation, with the capacity to think in new ways about technological innovation, and with the ability to build a career in a wide array of fields. Dual Degree Programmes at HKU Faculty of Arts Dual Degree Programmes at HKU Faculty of Arts The Faculty offers two four-year dual BA(HDT) degree programmes in collaboration with two highly respected international universities. For the programme jointly offered with the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), students will spend the first two years in France and the third and fourth years in Hong Kong.
