Media skills, creative thinking and communication design are emphasized. In addition to professional facilities such as photography studio, film/TV production studio, sound recording studio, video editing and design laboratories, and art studio, the programme is taught by scholars and experts of media and advertising fields to equip students with the latest practical knowledge for creative careers. With a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Advertising and Media Design degree, students are well suited for a wide range of careers in the creative media industries such as advertising design, digital and interactive media, strategic planning, art gallery and museum, film/TV production, and media education. Opportunities for postgraduate studies are available in Hong Kong and abroad. Unless otherwise stated in the Programme-specific subject requirements, HKDSE Category B subjects (Applied Learning) with attainment at “Attained” or above, or Category C subjects (Other Languages) at specified levels, can be considered as elective subjects, and up to 2 Applied Learning subjects (excluding Applied Learning Chinese) will be recognized as electives. 2 . Mathematics Extended Part (i.e., Module 1 (Calculus and Statistics) / Module 2 (Algebra and Calculus)) will be counted as an elective subject.
