The programme content is matched to the requirements of the local registration board and international entry-level physiotherapy education standards. In addition to lectures, we teach physiotherapy core courses through small group teaching, utilising both specialised laboratories and real clinical settings. The programme includes over 1,000 hours of clinical placements in different settings such as hospital in-patient and out-patient departments, as well as community-based rehabilitation centres. The programme has received accreditation from the Physiotherapists Board of the Supplementary Medical Professions Council (SMPC) in June 2022. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration as Physiotherapists “物理治療師” for practice in Hong Kong. Remarks Remarks Preference for interview invitation will be given to selected candidates who place the programme as their Band A choices. Students with HKDSE English Language results below Level 3 are required to complete non-credit bearing English enhancement course(s) in the first year of study. * For applicants with 2012-2023 HKDSE subject results First Year Tuition Fee First Year Tuition Fee HK$ 171,250 Tuition fees* (after deduction of subsidy from the Government) 2027/2028: $89,800 2028/2029: $89,800 2029/2030: $89,800 2030/2031: $89,800 Tung Wah College will adjust the tuition fee of its programmes based on the Composite Consumer Price Index to be announced by the Government annually. The above tuition fee is net of annual subsidy under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP). In 2027/2028 academic year, the annual subsidy under the SSSDP is $81,450 for laboratory-based undergraduate programmes.
