Graduates of the programme will be well-equipped to pursue their careers in FinTech per se or in companies that employ FinTech solutions. Some may opt to work for information technology and applied data science companies, in regulatory compliance roles, or to launch their own start-up companies. The programme will also provide a solid foundation for further postgraduate study in the field. The‘Attained’ level in the subject ‘Citizenship and Social Development’ can be counted as Level 2 and included in the score calculation of the best five subjects. Priority will be given to students who have achieved Level 3 or above in Mathematics and/or Information and Communication Technology. "Attained with Distinction (II)” and "Attained with Distinction (I)” is comparable to level 4 and level 3 respectively. 'Attained' in ApL will not be considered. In addition, ApL Chinese cannot be used as an elective subject. Maximum of one Category C subject (Other languages) can be counted. HKSYU accepts combined sittings in HKDSE examination. First Year Tuition Fee First Year Tuition Fee HK$ 81,210 For BCom (Hons) FinTech, the first year tuition fee of 2027/28 entry is $81,210 and the whole programme fee is $324,840. The amount of SSSDP subsidy in 2027/28 is $46,780. After deducting SSSDP subsidy, the estimated first year tuition fee is $34,430 and the whole programme fee is $137,720.
