Students from all education backgrounds are welcome. The curriculum includes courses in five key areas: (1) Fundamental Concepts in ADS, (2) Business Analytics, (3) Digital Humanities/Social Science, (4) Data Visualization, and (5) Professional Internship and Capstone Projects. The‘Attained’ level in the subject ‘Citizenship and Social Development’ can be counted as Level 2 and included in the score calculation of the best five subjects. Priority will be given to students who have achieved Level 4 or above in the ‘Extended modules in Mathematics’ and/or Information and Communication Technology. "Attained with Distinction (II)” and "Attained with Distinction (I)” is comparable to level 4 and level 3 respectively. 'Attained' in ApL will not be considered. In addition, ApL Chinese cannot be used as an elective subject. Maximum of one Category C subject (Other languages) can be counted. HKSYU accepts combined sittings in HKDSE examination. First Year Tuition Fee First Year Tuition Fee HK$ 97,014 For BSc (Hons) ADS, the first year tuition fee of 2027/28 entry is $97,014 and the whole programme fee is $388,056. The amount of SSSDP subsidy in 2027/28 is $46,780. After deducting SSSDP subsidy, the estimated first year tuition fee is $50,234 and the whole programme fee is $200,936.
