International Entry Requirements We welcome applications from students of all nationalities and from all over the world. We'll consider the equivalency of your specific qualifications against our entry requirements and help you through every stage of the application process. Our selection process and interviews At Falmouth, we interview all applicants who demonstrate potential in their initial application. Interviews are two-way; they give you the opportunity to show your creative skills and interview us, and they help us further assess your potential in your chosen subject. You'll be invited to an online interview via the Applicant Portal, which you can use to request another date or time if you need to. If you are already in the UK, you can choose an in-person interview instead. These applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by our academic teams taking into account all elements of the application. Previous rules meant that when the UK exited the EU eligible students from Germany could no longer receive this support for an entire course. The revision means that students can apply for up to €5,600 towards tuition fees as well as up to just under €1,000 a month to cover living expenses for one-year Master’s programmes outside of the EU, i.e. including in the UK. Although the BAföG programme is means-tested, the thresholds for taking it abroad are higher than for studying in Germany, so it is always worth students checking whether they are eligible. English Language Requirements All applicants must demonstrate their level of English is suitable for their level of study. We accept a variety of English language tests and also accept the English Language element of some international qualifications. These are listed on our International Entry Requirements page. Where an offer of a place is conditional on you meeting our English language requirement, you will need to meet that condition before your offer is made unconditional and you can begin studying. We can only accept tests that have been completed within the last two years or academic qualifications completed within the last 5 years. Where an English Language test or qualification taught and examined in English is older than two years or five years respectively, we may consider evidence of continuing use of English in the workplace or elsewhere in the intervening period.
