Hong Kong Diploma in Secondary Education (HKDSE) Arts: Successful completion of the Hong Kong Diploma in Secondary Education including a pass in all four Core subjects including grade 4 or better in English, and a pass at grade 4 or better in any three further subjects. Science: Successful completion of the Hong Kong Diploma in Secondary Education including a pass in all four Core subjects including grade 3 or better in English and Maths (Compulsory part), and a pass at grade 4 or better in four subjects, including two Electives either selected from {Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ICT, Geography} or selected from {Science, ICT, Geography} (if one of these four subjects is Maths then both the Compulsory and Extended parts should be passed at grade 4 or better). Engineering: Successful completion of the Hong Kong Diploma in Secondary Education including a pass in all four Core subjects including grade 3 or better in English and Maths (Compulsory part), and a pass at grade 4 or better in four subjects, including Electives in Maths (where both the Compulsory and Extended parts should be passed at grade 4 or better) and Physics. Law: Successful completion of the Hong Kong Diploma in Secondary Education including a pass in all four Core subjects, including level 4 in English, level 4 in three further subjects and level 5 in any one subject.
