# Business Management with Analytics - BA (Hons)
As one of our five business management routes, this CMI -accredited BA (Hons) in Business Management with Analytics will help you to develop a specialised understanding of analytical methods and utilise software packages to support key business decisions alongside core business management skills. You will learn how businesses generate meaningful reports for other stakeholders, make decisions and gain knowledge on the different tools we can use to analyse information.
Not only that, but we are ranked top in Scotland amongst “post-92” universities for Business and Management in the Guardian University Guide 2027.
You will also gain the key skills that employers value most - including effective negotiation, hands‑on project management experience, strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in teams. Our business management degree pathways are designed to equip you with the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in the fast‑evolving markets of the future.
The course also has dual accreditation with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) , providing you with a nationally recognised qualification and access to a suite of professional resources as well as mentoring and networking opportunities.
GAIN A DEGREE IN A YEAR: If you have an HNC or an HND, you may be eligible to enter this degree at an advanced stage. Depending on your qualifications, this means you could gain a bachelor’s (ordinary) degree in just one year. (see Entry Requirement and Application Section on this page).
