A-levels, including A2 Mathematics.

Direct entry to Level 5 of the MEng is not normally permitted.

Entry onto this course does not require an interview, entrance test, audition or portfolio.

Qualifications needed for 2027:

UCAS tariff points: 128-136

A-levels, including A2 Mathematics. Alternatively, an engineering-related BTEC National Extended Diploma: Distinction, Distinction, Merit (DDM), including Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Or a T-level in Engineering or a related subject with an overall grade of D.

Alternatively, an Access Course in a relevant Engineering subject, which has been passed with all Level 3 Maths and Physics units passed (128 UCAS points) will be considered.

English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5.
