Hong Kong Undergraduate We accept GCE A Levels, IB, BTEC, SAT/APs and HKDSE among other international qualifications. Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Year 1: 444 from core or elective subjects Year 2*: 544 from core or elective subjects For subjects that require the equivalent of A Level Mathematics, HKDSE Core is required. For some subjects Extended Mathematics (M1 or M2) is required. *Most degrees allow first or second year entry. Hong Kong Associate Degree Year 2 or 3 entry depending on subjects studied - GPA 3.0/4.0. Postgraduate A good honours degree from a Hong Kong university is required. Additionally, some Masters programmes require work experience. Please check the detailed entry requirements for each course. University preparation programmes International students who do not meet their main degree academic requirements have the option of studying undergraduate or postgraduate university preparation programmes at the University of Strathclyde International Study Centre. Upon successful completion, students will be able to progress to degree level study at Strathclyde. Students can apply for one of following programmes:​ Undergraduate Foundation Programme for progression to the second year of a business and social sciences or engineering and sciences-related degree​ International Year Two for progression to the second/third year of the business degree​ Pre-Masters Programme for progression to a business and social sciences or engineering and sciences related Masters degree Upon successful completion, students can progress to degree-level study at University of Strathclyde.
