A satisfactory Criminal records declaration (DBS/Disclosure Scotland) and Occupational Health clearance are required for this course.

International Students are required to have IELTs 6.5 with 6.5 in each component taken within 2 years of the course start date and no equivalencies will be accepted.

If you have already started the course and your DBS check later shows a criminal conviction, you may have to leave the course. Please note, all applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the start of their first clinical placement. If an applicant will be under 18 years of age at the start of their clinical placement their application/ offer will need to be deferred until the next available intake.

Minimum qualifications:

104 points at A2

BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM

BTEC Diploma: D*D

Pass Access Course: 104 UCAS points

International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 104 points from Higher Level Subjects

T Level: M

IELTS: 6.5 with no Component lower than 6.5

Four core modules at Level 3 or above with grades 3 or above AND at least one elective modules at Level 3 or above with grades 3 or above in HKDSE.

NOTE: Core and Elective subjects, including Liberal Studies or Citizenship and Social Development, will be accepted at Levels 3 and above. English can be counted within the points, with a minimum requirement of Level 4.

Minimum English entry requirements:

Standard English language entry requirements - IELTS 6.0 (with no component score lower than 5.5) or equivalent.

HKDSE English: Level 3 at category A

English as medium of instruction for students progressing from VTC or HKCT programmes (to reflect requirements in-country)
