Politics and data science student
Smaller classes mean you get to know your professors. It feels more personal. Being so close to London and the rest of England and Europe is so unique and offers so much opportunity, I have loved my time at the university.
Data science student
NU London offered a specialised opportunity to study an honours programme in my degree subject, heightened by small class sizes, and more personalised features in the lectures. My lecturers knew my style of learning and my ability and were able to tailor the information into the way I best understood it.

discover how our minds and behaviour are affected by social, economic, political, health and environmental changes
explore topics such as the ‘nature or nurture’ debate, and the role of growth and development, gender, consciousness, perception, learning, memory, language, emotion, motivation and well-being in shaping the human mind and behaviour
study the structure and function of the human brain, including the biology of cognitive processes as well as nervous system disorders
examine how we think, with a focus on cognitive processes including attention, perception, problem-solving and decision-making
explore the science of human differences, from personality types and cognitive styles to intelligence and mental health
investigate the principles of mental health and psychopathology – the scientific study of mental health disorders and their treatments
