If you have taken HKDSE, we can typically accept grades ranging from 444 to 5*55. This summary is provided as guidance and requirements may vary for individual courses, which often require high grades in relevant subjects. Neither the HKDSE Citizenship and Social Development nor the English Language subjects can be accepted as part of the programme offer. Students who have completed at least one year at a university in Hong Kong and achieved good grades can be considered for direct entry to our undergraduate degree courses. If you have studied the Hong Kong Associates Degree, then we look for a GPA between 2.8 and 3.2 for first year entry. Second year entry is assessed on a case-by-case basis. These must include a B in both Biology (or human biology) and Chemistry. We do not use predicted A level grades and do not score A levels, AS levels, or equivalent as part of our selection process. However, any offers made will be conditional on meeting the A level requirements. A pass is normally required in science practical tests, where these are assessed separately. We will not accept citizenship studies, critical thinking, general studies, or global perspectives. You must study three A levels together over a two year period and meet the entry requirements, however you can take an extra A level a year earlier or later if needed to meet the entry requirements or recommended by your school or college. Please note we do not usually accept A levels which have taken three years to complete unless there have been any significant extenuating circumstances surrounding this.
