English Language and Mathematics

Applicants who have achieved GCSE Maths one grade below the specified requirement will be considered. These applicants may be invited to complete the Maths Transition Course and receive a conditional offer on the basis of successful course completion.

* Accepted A-Level science subjects include: Biology/Human Biology^; Chemistry; Computing; Design and Technology; Economics; Electronics; Environmental Science; Environmental Studies; Geography; Geology; Maths/Pure Maths/Further Maths^; Physical Education; Physics; Psychology; Science (applied); Statistics.

^If more than one of these is taken they would only count as one 'science' but could count as two A-Levels towards our general requirements.

GCE A-Level in two science subjects* (see below) at grade B or A-Level Geology at grade B.

Applicants studying one of the following subjects in the BTEC Extended Diploma, BTEC Diploma or BTEC Extended Certificate will be considered without the specific GCE A-Level subject requirements: Applied Science, Engineering.

Access to HE

24 L3 credits at Distinction Grade and 21 L3 credits at Merit Grade

12 L3 credits at Distinction Grade in an acceptable Geology subject area or 24 L3 credits at Distinction Grade in two other acceptable Science subject area

T-level Design, surveying and planning for construction only
