Here’s an example of how 120 UCAS tariff points might look for some common level 3 qualifications.

We also would consider the Dental Nursing qualification Certificate OR NVQ, which must include 2 post certification qualifications in Radiology AND Oral Health Educator, and 3 years’ employment experience in Practice / Community / Hospital setting.

Grade 4/C in GCSE English Language and Mathematics (or a recognised equivalent) are required.

A Levels must include Biology, Chemistry or Applied Science at grade B.

BTEC / T Level must be in a Science or Health related subject area.

[Input] Toggle collapsibleRow Disclosure and Barring Service Clearance

You must declare at the point of application and interview any criminal convictions (spent and otherwise), as this will determine your eligibility to progress through the application process.

Once you have been offered and accepted a place on your programme, you will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (adult and child workforce) and send a copy of the DBS certificate to our admissions team. If you have any criminal convictions, a risk assessment will be undertaken to determine your suitability for the programme and profession.

* All successful applicants MUST complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and this is at the applicant’s expense.

* Applicants MUST sign up to the DBS Update Service within 30 days in receiving their certificate

* International applicants require equivalent overseas checks

In addition, you must declare any criminal cautions or convictions during your programme (at the point they occur) to your course leader, as this may affect your ability to continue with or complete your programme. An annual DBS update service check will be conducted each year to ensure compliance.

We accept Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course in a health or science-based subject. Applicants are required to meet 104 tariff points (example of achieving this would be 9 distinctions and 36 merits and 0 passes or 12D, 30M and 3P).

We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants, although some entry requirements may still apply for professionally accredited courses. We accept Access to Higher Education Diplomas and make offers on an individual basis.

We welcome students from all over the world to study our foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
